10.07 am - autumn equinox - believe in magick! (and the recipe)

sitting here having a cup of tea this morning ~ reading emails - getting ready to post this:
doesn't feel like autumn at all but by the calendar it is the autumn equinox..
the leaves are still green & it is really humid.. however - the currawongs are carolling outside and that always heralds autumn for me...
my wish for the world today is to go back to simpler times....

and the currowong sang at exactly 10.07am!!!!
ahh life is indeed magickal in my world
here is the promised link to the apple & cinnamon cake

The cinnamon and apple cake receipe looks delicious. I agree with you that I wish the world was living in simpler or more natural times, but you and me especially have to counterweight that with the fact we wouldn't know each other if we hadn't got computer technology. So shall we make simpler times just losing the bad things like war, pollution etc?

Hi Robyn:-) You wouldn't think it's the first day of Spring here with it being only -11c (12F) outside!! I was only gone away for a few days but it feels more like a month! Now I'm trying to get caught up with everyone:-) xoxo

Blessed Mabon to you friend! Isn't that a blessing to get a sign from nature saying that yes, indeed it is fall even though it may not feel like it.

Wonderful recipe too!

Happy Autumn, Robyn! That recipe sounds so good - must try it after my legion of guests who are about to descend on us for three weeks' straight depart. There won't be any time for baking with them around! xo

OH! There's the recipe *blushing* I don't know what almond meal is, but the rest sounds yummy!!!! I was also amused by the word "skewer"... I never thought about the fact that you probably have a very way cool accent, until I saw that word!!!! *giggle* I guess it was kinda obvious, but it didn't click til now!
