last night we went out to dinner, to celebrate a friend's 60th birthday. A gorgeous old guesthouse in the town of Blackheath about half an hours drive from my home
as usual, I went dressed like a pixie - well that is what most of my friends call me, a pixie. I wore a tomato red lace skirt with my newest pixie shoes. Bells on my toes!

then I thought I would be brave like many of my blogging friends and post a photo of myself. So I asked my husband to take a photo of me. He is not very camera savvy..and he could not find that hazy filter to make me look like I really do in my minds eye ~ I don't wear alot of make-up, I have worry lines on my forehead.
posting it is hard. why? why is it so hard to post a photo of myself?... being brave ~ here I am ~ a plain & simple gal from down under

Robyn, I think you must have posted the wrong photo. Is this lovely lady your daughter or sister? I think someone is playing a joke on me here! Now stop being so silly and post a picture of this witchy hag you claim to be. Where did you say those worry lines were? I cannot for the life in me find any lines in your face.... and that complexion.... so creamy and velvety soft. Where is this woman you claim to be?

Robyn, this is a beautiful photo - you look radiant and like Sheila said with skin like yours who needs special photography.
As for the shoes....SO FABULOUS! It's very freeing to dress how you like. Heck today I bought a pink vintage apron with embroidery that I plan to wear over my jeans...as part of an outfit. who cares! We are who we are so why not dress as we please!!!
