"There's such a lot of different Annes in me. I sometimes think that is why I'm such a troublesome person. If I was just the one Anne it would be ever so much more comfortable, but then it wouldn't be half so interesting."

sea-side here I come!

Oh I do like to be beside the seaside,
I do like to be beside the sea,
I do like to stroll along the prom, prom, prom,
Where the brassbands play
Tiddley-om-pom-pom!
So just let me be beside the seaside,
I'll be beside myself with glee;

yes ~ I am off to the seaside tomorrow! - it's our summer here and we found a little cottage right on the water - a cottage for two - all to ourselves, to read, to nap, watch movies. lobster and prawns. icecream cones. I cannot wait. Sussex Inlet is a little seaside village - we had our own holiday home there a few years back and I discovered an amazing little bay with millions & trillions of shells - we called it a shell graveyard. I cannot wait to go there and collect them in my bucket and after that, I want to go to the rock pool where the water comes up over my knees - and sometimes when the wave is big it comes up to my chest - but ..... in that rock pool is a collection of sea glass. I bend over to pick a piece up and over comes a wave - I jump up, spluttering and gasping - my inner child is free at last! Maybe, just maybe I will see a mermaid!

See you all when I get home!

Oh...and I cant collage either.....I've given up getting upset over it, just adopt your own style and maybe in time it will develop. Looking forward to seeing all your creative efforts this year.

Enjoy your time as a mermaid, but be sure to come back to us. Never having lived by the sea, I can just imagine how wonderful it must be to spend days and days in a little cottage. Have fun.

How envious I am of your holiday by the sea and the chance to gather sea glass(my personal favorite) and shells - feel the sand and have the waves rush across your feet. I love the sound of the waves...looking out on the vastness and hoping with everything in me to see a mermaid...and feel the magic!! Enjoy my dear Robyn, I hope you took your camera!
Big Love,
Lisa

I so hope you have a glorious time. If you do see the mermaid, ask her if she would mind a photo for just your blogging friends. I bet she will be beautiful.

Hugs,

Reading your happiness and excitement made me elevate in my office chair where I am stuck for the next few hours.

I am just cruising around from site to site tonight saying hello and relishing the phenomenon that is blogging. We take it up innocently and in it, if we are open to it, find a doorway to true friendships with like people all over the world and in our own home town.

What I think I’m saying is . . . . . “I’m really glad I met you – even though I have not yet really met you – and may never actually meet you – it is still amazing.”
